Maurice is Managing Director of Signium Executive Search International Limited, the New Zealand partner of Signium International, he founded in 1976. Maurice is widely endorsed as one of New Zealand’s leading executive search consultants with over 35 years continuous experience in the search-based recruitment of chief executives, senior management and directors for public and private corporations.

Maurice has been instrumental in facilitating the successful appointment of C-level executives, general management and non-executive directors across a wide variety of industries including local government, investment banking, professional services, industrial services, manufacturing, financial services, not-for-profit and utilities. In these sectors he has led local and international searches for high calibre executives and directors who exceed expectations.

A Certified Management Consultant, Maurice is also a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management Consultants, an Associate Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management, a member of the Institute of Directors and a Justice of the Peace. Maurice has served for many years on a number of boards of educational, NFP and economic development organisations and is presently Director of a small technology company and Finance Director of the Signium International Group Inc.

Maurice is an Honours graduate in Strategic Management and Governance from Massey University where he gained his Master of Business Studies and holds Bachelor degrees in Science (Psych) and Commerce (Management Science) from the University of Auckland. He has lectured post-graduate students and at the Institute of Director Workshops for Aspiring Directors.

Through his wealth of experience, extensive networks and knowledge of the market, Maurice is respected for his insights, expertise and intuition and is a valued adviser to many Board Chairs and Chief Executives.

Stephen is Associate Director of Signium Executive Search International Limited. Stephen possesses a unique mix of executive search consulting experience and a commercial background acquired from extensive experience in sales and marketing within multinational corporations.

Prior to his involvement with Signium Executive Search International, Stephen spent over ten years within the fast moving consumer goods industry with global blue chip corporations such as PepsiCo and Energizer holding management positions in New Zealand and internationally.

Stephen has a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of Auckland and is Chair on the Board of Trustees of his children’s school.

Stephen has successfully managed many executive search assignments over his five years in the industry and has appointed chief executives, general managers, chief financial officers, chief technology officers, divisional heads and specialist technical roles.

These appointments span a wide range of industries and encompass the tourism, education, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing and services, publishing, local government, not-for-profit and technology sectors.

Sharon has diverse human resource management experience across private and public sectors, including professional services, primary and local government.

Sharon leads the company’s research projects for appointments across a wide range of private and public sector organisations and has had over ten years of executive search experience focusing at chief executive, general management, non-executive director, functional senior management and specialist appointment level. She joined Signium Executive Search International in August 1995 and undertakes New Zealand, Australasian and international research.
